In my senior year at Lynn University, I joined Housing and Residence Life as a Resident Assistant (RA) of the Trinity Residence Hall building. My residents are the freshmen of the Lynn lacrosse men's team. Working with a variety of individuals, ensure students respect rules, and events' planning are some of the duties I perform.
ROLE MODEL
Serve as a role model, encourage and assist students in their development and growth as individuals
BUILD A COMMUNITY
Build a community and maintain consistency with floor policies, student accountability, and treatment of residents
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Participate in a rotating on-call duty schedule, execute administrative functions required, plan on campus events, and assist in housing operations such as room changes, staff recruitment, and housing selection.
EVENTS PLANNING
Collaborate with Student Affairs to plan 2 individual RA programs/events a semester: a Just Dance competition, an Italian event with snacks, a sports competition day, and a pasta lunch were the programs I planned
